The summer solstice brings a unique experience to Decin… a night time adventure on the via ferrata, the anchored climbing course in the center of town.

Ferrata Night, to be held June 21, gives climbers an opportunity to tackle the cliff by the light of headlamps and moonlight.

The fun begins at 9:00 pm with an official kick-off and instructions. The rental shop will be open and instructors will be available for consultation. The climb up the cliff face is scheduled from 10:00 pm to midnight in the company of a guide.

During the ascent, climbers must follow instructions given by the guide. Climbers participate at their own risk. Under the operating rules for the via ferrata, the course is closed after dark for safety reasons, but on Ferrata Night, an exception will be made. However, the event will take place only if weather allows.
