The lowest lying city on the Elbe is an ideal spot for recreation and relaxation. Located near Bohemian Switzerland National Park, it is a jumping off point for outings to fabulous panoramic spots, magnificent cliff formations, and historic sights. The city straddles the river Elbe at the point where the Ploucnice and Jilove rivers flow into it and fills the wide river valley, creeping up the surrounding slopes.
