David Koller, Paulie Garand, Anna K, Pam Rabit, Poletíme, Michal Hrůza, Prago Union and many other interesting bands and artists led by the main star of the festival Ewa Farna. This year's Labefest promises to be a great spectacle and also brings several novelties. "After years we have renewed the organizing team of the event and asked the proven team behind similar festivals across the country to create the dramaturgy. The Municipal Centre for Culture and Tourism, which is the main organiser this year, will work closely with them," said Martin Pošta (the choice for Děčín), Deputy Mayor of Děčín for Education, Culture and Sport.
In addition to a high quality cultural programme, visitors can look forward to a new and clearer website, a modern logo, new souvenir merchandise and much better social facilities for the entire festival.
"It will be divided into two zones again this year. It will be divided into a paid one with a large stage on Smetanovo nábřeží and a non-paid one with a small stage on Mariánská louka. In addition to concerts and "Woodcarving", there will also be other interesting workshops and studios. Visitors will be able to try out various artistic techniques first-hand. There will also be the traditional "Běláskové klání" and of course the popular Friday fireworks display. Saturday's programme will open with a concert for the youngest spectators, Pískomil se vrací“ adds Martin Pošta.
