You don't have to look far for a lookout tower in the surroundings of Děčín. One towers directly above the town and offers a beautiful view of the entire Děčín region. The Sokolí vrch lookout tower stands on the hill of the same name at an altitude of 512 metres. It is about 4 kilometres from Děčín. You can go to the lookout tower by car or on foot. There is a green hiking trail from Děčín, which starts at the local hospital. You can get there by car or by public transport (bus number 201). The hike to Sokolí vrch will take you 4.3 kilometres. The same marked trail to the lookout tower also leads from nearby Huntířov. You can shorten the journey by about a kilometre.
The lookout tower is also a frequent destination for cyclists. In autumn, families with children seek out Sokolí vrch. The windy plains of Sokolí hill are ideal for flying kites. The extensive meadows are also used by aeromodellers.
More information including other routes to Sokolí vrch can be found on the municipality's website Dobrná.
