A bus will once again be running to the Děčín Zoo

Starting Saturday, June 15, bus line no. 216 to the Děčín Zoo will be launched in a new format. The line will offer free transportation with a new route and service to new stops - specifically, the stops Rajské ostrovy, Bus Station, and Tesco.

The Rajské ostrovy stop, in particular, will allow passengers to easily access the exhibit of the same name on Teplická Street. The other two new stops are located near large free parking lots, so there is no need to stress about finding a parking spot directly in front of the zoo, where the traffic situation can be critical due to the influx of visitors, and parking spots are not always available. Thanks to this bus, you can calmly park at the bottom of the hill, and the bus will take you to the zoo for free.

The line to the zoo will operate on weekends until the end of September and during the main holidays (July - August) on weekdays as well, with a minibus that has a capacity of 15 seated and 27 standing passengers. The first bus to the zoo will always start at 8:37 AM at the bus station, and the last bus from the zoo will be at 6:30 PM.

All routes are served through the Main Railway Station, stop no. 1, where passengers can transfer from both buses and trains. The new timetable for line no. 216 is also available on the DPMD, a.s. website in the route and connection search tool (you just need to manually set the validity of the timetables from June 15, 2024).
