Bohemian Switzerland train

The T2 line, or the Bohemian Switzerland Train, is ideal for exploring the national park. The line operates from 29 March to 3 November 2024 on weekends and public holidays. Already popular with hikers, some trains can also be used for transporting bicycles, although bike carriage capacity is limited.

The route runs from Decin through Markvartice, Ceska Kamenice, Kytlice, Rybniste, to Varnsdorf and from Decin through Krasna Lipa to Rumburk and Mikulasovice.

Starting in 2024 the DUK will operate Desiro carriages on the line with Region engines as backup. The capacity of one Desiro unit is 126 seats and 5 bicycles, the Region unit carries 84 seats and 6 bicycles.

Make reservations for bicycle transport with the DUKapka app, at least 2 days in advance for the Decin–Rybniste leg, maximum 6 bicycles, which is half of the transport capacity of the train in this section. Bicycle transport cannot be booked on the Rybniste–Mikulasovice/Rumburk track.

Bicycle tickets are fully transferable - within the integrated DUK system, you can use them to transfer between trains, buses and boats for the entire duration of their validity. A 60-minute ticket is available for 25 CZK and an all-day bicycle ticket for 50 CZK.
