Decin has a full calendar of events and special programs this Advent season. Come welcome winter with us!

The first weekend in Advent kicked off with festivities on the main squares on both sides of the river – Hus Square, Krizova ulice, and Masaryk Square. The main event was the lighting of the Christmas tree on Dec. 1 on Masaryk Square, which was accompanied by concerts and performances. There was also a food festival on the main square.

As the season progresses, you can look forward to a holiday market in Krizova ulice with music every evening and stands selling mulled wine, hot cider, and other food and drink as well as gifts and holiday decorations. The market is open every evening until the end of the year (the cultural program ends Dec. 26).

But the festivities are not limited to one spot. There will be markets and fun scattered throughout Decin throughout this season. See the calendar of events below for details.
