The tourist season of 2024 kicks off this Saturday

The main program will take place beneath the city library starting at 10:00. Interested individuals can enjoy the opening cycling tour along the Ploučnice cycle path with a tour of the Caffé08 coffee roastery, a walk along the newly marked Nordic walking trail, or a ride on the historic steamboat Labe (tickets available at www.vstupenkadecin.cz). Throughout the day, the Czech Red Cross will demonstrate first aid, Tomáš Eibl will perform his bike show, and visitors can try glass blowing at the glass furnace. For children, competitions by Kiwanis from Ústí nad Labem and games with MC Bělásek are prepared, while older children and adults can try obstacles from the Predator Run race.

A major attraction is undoubtedly the Food Festival with delicacies from around the world. This year's new feature includes prepared cooking shows, with the largest one being Adam Rundus's show, a participant of MasterChef Czech Republic 2023. Visitors can also look forward to a chili pepper eating contest and other minor competitions.There will also be a Chill Zone with a teahouse, DJs, and grill treats, as well as a musical program on stage by the band Kůzle, which will especially delight young spectators and local DCRadio listeners.Booths presenting tourist destinations and regional products will be available.

Representatives from České Švýcarsko, Saské Švýcarsko, Krušné hory, Ústí nad Labem, Litoměřice, Teplice, Česká Kamenice, Lovosice, Königstein, and others will introduce their tourist attractions. There will also be stalls with gift items, ceramics, jewelry, natural soaps, local breweries, wineries, and more. Come and enjoy an active spring day.
