One of Decin's best known landmarks, the suspension footbridge at the foot of the castle bluff, is in dire need of repair. Work on the bridge requires its full closure, planned for July 24 until the end of the year. Work is being undertaken by Strabag Rail a.s. and includes the sandstone gate on the park end, the support wall and the bridge surface and construction.
A detour is marked on the bike trail parallel to the river. See the map below.
