A new programming team, modern visuals, Friday’s ever-popular fireworks display and, above all, a program packed with the biggest stars of the Czech pop scene. This year's Labefest will be one to remember.
David Koller, Paulie Garand, Anna K, Pam Rabbit, Poletime, Michal Hruza, Prago Union other great artists will join this year’s festival headliner Ewa Farna. Labefest promises to be a blast. And the organizers have introduced a number of new elements. "After years we have renewed the organizing team of the event and asked the proven team behind similar festivals across the country to create the program. The Municipal Culture and Tourism Center, which is the main organizer this year, will work closely with them," said Martin Posta (VPD), Deputy Mayor of Decin for Education, Culture and Sport.
In addition to a top quality cultural program, visitors can look forward to a well organized website, a modern logo, new merch and even improved toilet facilities.
“There will be two zones again this year. [The festival] will be divided into a paid one with a large stage on the riverbank and a free entry zone with a small stage on Marian Meadow. In addition to concerts and a woodcarving festival, there will also be other interesting workshops. Visitors will be able to try out various artistic techniques first-hand. There will also be the traditional activities for small children, and of course the popular Friday fireworks display. Saturday's program will open with a concert for children,” adds Martin Posta.
